Longevity & AgingSystemAge 2.1 Brings Sex-Specific Biological Age Testing Across 21 Organ Systems
Generation Lab has released SystemAge 2.1, a biological age test that now offers dedicated male and female versions, measuring over 460 biomarkers across 21 organ systems from a single needle-free blood draw. New additions include coverage of skin, connective tissue, reproductive health, and mitochondrial function. The platform uses a metric called Biological Noise — based on DNA methylation variability — which the company says outperforms established clocks like DunedinPACE and PhenoAge. It also tracks how specific interventions such as NAD+, peptides, stem cells, and therapeutic plasma exchange affect biological age over time. The test is already deployed across 750+ clinics in 18 countries, with reported average biological age reductions of 5.5 years from stem cell protocols.
